Found Letter Comic

There are still a couple of minor changes I'm going to make, but this is basically done. I'm going to print it with one of those old fashioned photocopiers so that I can use thin paper more easily, and so the ink will soak into the paper better. The actual comic has black outlines around the panels and black text. You can see that in the first shot, but not the later scans.

  1. Very nice, but I can't read it! Can you fix this? Then we'll say more

  3. Read with great difficulty. Great comic. Yer best thing yet, including your face and your life.

  4. This may be one of your first real masterworks. It represents the fusion of all things Barry. Printmaking. Serialized storytelling. Zines. Found art. Post industrial age life. Loneliness. Gritty street scenes. Lonely walking dudes. Quiet desperation. Crisp lettering. Rich drawing. This story hooked me and the ending makes you feel terribly sorry for this guy. The only light on at the hotel. Alone. Begging his sister to write back. As I read it, I'm sitting in a Holiday Inn Express in Covington, Virginia. Feeling bad for the lost souls. This is great art.
