I'm looking back at the whole chess boy series this morning, and I laughed most at this one. There is something psychologically precise about this character which is very pleasing. Dad and Barry's comments on these comics keep saying its innovative - it is a new equation for a comic strip, not like so many new ones, where you feel like they read Calvin and Hobbes or something, and just couldn't imagine a good comic strip being all that different from it.
