1: several days ago when I first found this, I tried to comment that never did I expect the pleasant surprise of finding not only something on my daily visit to CBR, but a chessboy continuation;
2: I am very angsty about that Russian lady.
3: I like the parents - the dad seems like a contemplative, soft-hearted feller, and the Mom seems tough, competent, and left-brained/nerdy. first impressions
Well constructed, unpretentious comic-ing. Serialization, with its little cliff hangers and revelations, is a nice way to build a story. It makes sense that Dickens and Dostoevsky was serialized.
Nice hair.

This series is captivating. I love the mix of science and chess facts with mystery. Mom and her magnifying glass are particularly nice frames.
